Body of Work
Body of Work is a private personal health and fitness data platform designed to consolidate longitudinal information from connected services and information you supply.
Information we may process
Which information is processed depends on the features you use. Body of Work may process:
- Account information
- Sleep and recovery data
- Activity and workout information
- Heart-rate and related wellness metrics
- Body-composition information
- Nutrition information
- Laboratory information
- Medications and supplements
- Manually entered records
- Source metadata and provenance
- Technical information required to operate connected integrations
Using the service does not mean every category above is already available in the product.
Connected services
You may authorize Body of Work to retrieve information from third-party services such as Oura and other supported health or fitness platforms. Access occurs only after you authorize it. You may revoke that authorization. Each third-party service is also governed by its own privacy practices and terms.
When you connect an Oura account, Body of Work may retrieve health and wellness information that you authorize Oura to provide through its API. Body of Work is not affiliated with Oura.
How information is used
Information may be used to:
- Maintain your longitudinal record
- Display historical information
- Reconcile information from multiple sources
- Preserve provenance
- Identify changes over time
- Support analysis you request
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the application
Sale and advertising
Body of Work does not sell personal health information.
Body of Work does not use personal health information for targeted advertising.
Credentials
Connected-service credentials and tokens are intended to be handled on the server. They are not intentionally exposed to browser client code.
Retention
Information may be retained as part of your longitudinal record until it is deleted or you request deletion. Because provenance and history are part of the record, earlier versions may be kept while the account is active.
Disconnection and deletion
You may:
- Disconnect a connected service
- Revoke authorization through the applicable third-party provider
- Request deletion of information associated with Body of Work

Security
Body of Work uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Children
Body of Work is not intended for children under 18.
Changes
This policy may be updated. When it is, the effective date will be revised.
